Hi Chris,

Note that FluidSynth is licensed under the GNU Lesser General Public License version 2 (LGPL), not the main GPL.

This is a slightly different license which specifically allows what you are trying to do (linking the LGPL library with the proprietary software). So there should be no problem.

(However, if it was GPL, I don't believe what you are trying to do would be allowed.)
