I added a file in the db directory called queries.sql wit some queries
in to test the db.

Please note that I'm going to simplify as much as I can the queries so
that code is intended only for test now.

About the "core" , there is a nice os independent package called OSE
(http://ose.sourceforge.net) which offers some libraries for distribtued
programming. With this package is possible to write server and clients
apps that can use both xml-rpc and soap so we don't need to decide what
to use, we can simply use both since only a single implementation of the
service needs to be written.
However, this package is available in two licenses, one free (QPL), and
one commercial.

I don't understand much legalese, especially if it is written in english
:)

Before start coding I would like to know what do you think john about
these licenses, if they are suitable or not for this gpl project.
