Thomas reasoning is :
1- There is NO ROOM for proprietary software when free software exists
and meet all the users technical requirements. IOW, nowaday
proprietary software only survives when it proves clear technical
superiority over free software (or when it locks users with file
formats, but that's not the point here)
2- Banning technical facilities like DLL from free software is likely
to leave a clear advantage to proprietary software that use those
facilities to provide the best technical solution.
Conclusion : banning DLL from emacs is likely to make it technicaly
inferior than alternatives, thus preventing users from using it, thus
reducing the global freedom of the community.
