The group doc strings in the customize buffer appear to currently
be duplicated.
e.g. doing
M-x customize-group<RET>
Customize group (default emacs): gud<RET>
previously (EMACS_22_BASE) gave:
/- Gud group: -----------------------------------------------------------\
State: visible group members are all at standard values.
Grand Unified Debugger mode for gdb and other debuggers under Emacs. Hide
Rest
Supported debuggers include gdb, sdb, dbx, xdb, perldb, pdb (Python) and jdb.
but currently gives:
/- Gud group: Grand Unified Debugger mode for gdb and other debuggers under
Emacs.
Supported debuggers include gdb, sdb, dbx, xdb, perldb, pdb (Python) and jdb.\
State: something in this group has been changed outside customize.
Grand Unified Debugger mode for gdb and other debuggers under Emacs. Hide
Rest
Supported debuggers include gdb, sdb, dbx, xdb, perldb, pdb (Python) and jdb.
which I think is due to this line in custom-group-value-create in cus-edit.el
1.322 (cyd 05-Jul-07): (insert (widget-docstring widget))
