I know this, I follow several Haskell lists, glasgow-haskell-users
among them. My point wasn't about darcs shortcomings, but to stress
than having "stand-alone binaries available and working *now* in
Windows" will hardly be a deciding factor; not because I don't think
it is important (I do), but because any reasonable candidate dVCS
already works on Windows, to a lesser or greater extent.
