It's rather annoying as I tried tu use GDB to find my bug location
but,
after 30 minutes typing 'next', 'next', 'next', I realized the
processor is
more patient than I at running loops....

There is a graphical front-end included in gdb 6.3 termed Insight. I
think it is more user friendly than gdb because you can browse in the
sources (but it don't save breakpoints between the sessions).
