What would prevent multiple docks from being open with handling of app
icon 'ownership' being done by a more low level object? This would also
allow dock handling of non-appicon-aware apps if the dock writer so
desires. kinda like taskbars... you can have multiple kde and gnome
taskbars on the screen if you want and none of them take exclusive
ownership of that ability. Appicons are a bit more dynamic and trickier
but if events were interpreted by a common object, could there be
multiple docks running at once?
also, is there a current objective c binding for gtk2? the three that i
know of are all gtk1 and abandoned.
