Okay, I'm typing this on the latest CVS image and the bug appears to have been
fixed. Many thanks for this.
Control+arrow keys now also take me to the start and end of the line. However,
Home and End now produce asterisks and move the cursor forwards so that typing
will occur well before the cursor. Much further than it ought to.
This line ends in me pressing the Home key, followed by a full stop: .
I think I forgot to mention it in my first email on this issue, but clicking w/
the mouse at the end of the line causes the cursor to appear at the start of
the next line. I presume it's putting the insertion point after the newline...
