Yes, I'm keen on this. I think the Qt 3/KDE 3 Objective-C bindings are just 
too large if you have to link against C bindings too. I've just got Qt 3/KDE 
3 wrapped and compiled with gcc 3.0.1, but it won't run:

Everything was compiled with the -fPIC flag.

So I'm a bit fed up with it... I'd love Objective-C++ for Linux gcc 3.x ASAP.

Yes, yes, yes!

This is the same problem I had when I compiled KDE 2.0 bindings with gcc 
2.95.x. Other than that the bindings are ready for checkin - maybe the 
problem won't happen on Intel.
