Never mind, I managed to answer my own question:
For those of you who might be interested, the UHD images can be found
locally if you used the above script at (at least on my computer):
/usr/local/share/uhd/images
while if you want to download the UHD images manually you can go to 
http://code.ettus.com/redmine/ettus/projects/uhd/wiki
http://code.ettus.com/redmine/ettus/projects/uhd/wiki  a then click on the
blue link that says "Download images from master branch". 
In the downloaded archive you will find images for USRP1, USRP2, USRP E100,
N200 and N210 both for FPGA and for firmaware (fw).
