[Dctc-general] finalization of "no openssl" changes

Hi Eric!

First I wanted to thank you *very* *much* for the changes that
allow compilation of dctc w/o linking to openssl.

In attached patch you'll find some simple changes that *NEED*
to be applied so that one could actually build dctc w/o openssl.
W/o these changes - build fails if there's no openssl -dev files
in /usr/include. 

Summary - please apply and be done w/ this openssl issue.
