[Dazuko-devel] Kernel panics with dazukofs

From: jim burns
Subject: [Dazuko-devel] Kernel panics with dazukofs
Date: Thu, 10 May 2007 18:31:48 -0400
User-agent: KMail/1.9.6

I'm getting kernel panics when I have several sub-directories of '/' overlaid
with dazukofs, I have a desktop (KDE 3.5.6) loaded, and I do an update check,
or any other package management function, whether it's yum or SuSE's (10.2)
zypper. What's unique about package management is all those files (except the
rpm database) are on an nfs4 server. It should be said that KDE lives on a
local ntfs partition driven by the fuse based r/w ntfs-3g driver, but that
filesystem is not overlaid.

Below is the dazukofs section of my fstab. Any suggestions on what NOT to
overlay? (No mount points for remote filesystems are overlayed.) This is
followed by sample kernel panic messages from syslog.

I got similar output for cp, kded, knotify (twice), & konsole.

Then, 5 1/2 hours later, I got a somewhat different kernel panic
from 'antivir', and then the system is frozen. Any ideas?
