Thank you very much! You can't imagine how much this means to me. I would have been happy to use lzma utils or xz if they had provided a safe format, but sadly they didn't. I have been working for eight years now to provide a well designed format for the wonderful LZMA algorithm of Igor Pavlov, and I feel that coreutils using lzip opens the way for all of us to finally enjoy the benefits of LZMA.


+This package uses XZ utils (successor to LZMA) and LXIP to create

s/LXIP/LZIP/
