Subject: [r6rs-discuss] ANN: new version of the portable R6RS library and
    syntax-case system

Greetings,

I would like to announce the availability of a new revision of
the portable R6RS library and syntax-case system. You can
download the latest version and obtain more information from:
    http://www.cs.indiana.edu/~aghuloum/r6rs-libraries/

The implementation provides:
   * support for R6RS library and script top-level forms
     including enforcement of version/subversion constraints.
   * complete implementation of the (rnrs syntax-case (6)) library.
   * complete implementation of the (rnrs eval (6)) library
     (using the implementation's core evaluator).
   * expanders for all of R6RS's syntax forms, including
     define-recod-type and define-condition-type, both of which
     expand to calls to the procedural records layer.

The implementation runs and bootstraps itself successfully
under the following Scheme implementations:

   * Bigloo 3.0b
   * Chez Scheme 7.2
   * Chicken 2.710
   * Gambit 4.0 beta 20
   * Gauche 0.8.11
   * Ikarus (Build 2007-09-24)
   * Larceny 0.93
   * MIT-Scheme 7.7.90.+
   * MzScheme v371 [3m]
   * Petite Chez Scheme 7.2
   * Scheme48 1.7
   * SISC (1.16.6)

If your implementation is not listed above, and you would like
to see it supported, please contact me directly.

If you have any problems running the system, please email me
directly or post questions and bug reports to the launchpad
page:
    http://launchpad.net/r6rs-libraries/

Aziz,,,
