[Bug-tar] Possible tar bug

Hi,

I've encoutered this problem with large files. I found some threads about this 
few years old, but they usually didn't solve it. It seems I have problem adding 
a file which has 14 GB in size onto 12GB tape. I make multivolume archive, 
other files work fine, but this one stops with the error "15015536189 of type 
off_t is out of range 0..8589934591".

I am using latest stable version directly from your website under Ubuntu server 
x86-32.
