Trouble booting after deleting partition

Hi,
I need help for my brother. He has a window based system, to wich he add a
linux partition with Grub to select boot OS. Lately he erased the linux
partition, now Grub gives an error when booting, it can't start, and the
computer does not boot. When booting from bootable floppy, he cannot acces
his harddrive "c:\".

Please help. Tell me if you need any other information.
