I am happy to report that eptedit now appears to be bug-free!!!!!

I will send the patch as soon as I complete some more extensive testing.

How do I get an official Bug-grub request number assigned?  I noticed that
many other topics have them, even when they are not bugs at all (eg. "bug
#17472: grub install on hd(0,0) permanently damages Windows bootloader".
This one is clearly user error and is easily recovered from, as admitted by
at least two of those involved in that topic.

The other question that has been nagging me is that most of our
correspondence is not getting into the Bug-grub forum.  Is there something
else I need to be doing, for example putting address@hidden into the CC
list.  I use "Reply to All" in Outlook Express, but that does not happen
automatically.  I am forwarding all our previous correspondence there now
(just the ones without Bug-grub on the CC list).  I hope that helps.
