Does this work is part of the original GRUB tree now ?

Do we have to ask them about the ability to reuse them code ?

Does "GRUB team" are interest in keeping this work in the GRUB tree ?

THX

If you are interested in their version, you can obtain the source rpm
from my ftp server. The URL is:

ftp://duff.kuicr.kyoto-u.ac.jp/private/grub-0.5.94-2BP.src.rpm

I must admit that their version is quite interesting and they hired a
good hacker!

Basically, their main changes from 0.5.94 are:
* Add VESA support.
* Add Chinese support, based on GRUB I18N by Takeuchi-san.
* Add support for several filesystems (iso9660, BeFS, NTFS, and
  ReiserFS).
* Add Linux romfs support (so their version can load kernel modules
  without an initrd).
* Add CDROM support (although it seems not to work correctly because
  of buggy BIOSes).
* Add dummy filesystem support.

I think the dummy filesystem interface is a very good idea.
