Each game will start with (;FF[4] and end with a balanced ). You can
copy the first 17 games to a new files, correct the 18th game, append it
to the first file, and append the remaining 11 games from the original
file. In your case this should work with no problems.

You could do the same to add or remove a game, but you would then
manually have to change the game numbering in the SGF file otherwise the
numbering would be wrong in the last 11 games. But since you don't add
or remove any games you'll have no problems. I would save a backup copy
first, though :-)

I never tested it, but you could even construct a SGF file which
contains three games, each from different matches of different lengths.
gnubg would still analyse the "match" correctly. A special case of this
would be the log from a rollout which would be a "match" consisting of
1296 games which all start from the same position and score.
