Sure, it is this one.
I have evidently misread the ld man page (I read it, honest)
All my fault and there was no point in wasting the bandwidth here.

Anyway, a wish for a "more logical" default search is still here.
On the other side, given the existence of the right option, it becomes
just a matter of taste. Great.
