Hi All.

The exit successfully is my braino.  I didn't check closely enough what
happens upon SIGPIPE.

I will deal with this in the next day or two.

Handling non-fatal stuff has complicated things more than I expected.

Everyone take a deep breath; it should get straightened out shortly.
