  Ok I looked at this url and the problem was with shared files
  between several projects. However I am affraid tha fixing the
  previous bug created a new one ! Anyway suprresing this two
  lines in the code it works perfectly with my own setings
  ... So there is an incompatibility and we may try to solve
  the whole problem. My opinion is that the question is not in
  the retrieval process but in the storage process. Indeed if
  you want to retrieve the style file in an master file
  independent way, the sould not be stored in a master file
  dependent directory !  What I am doing is allowed by LaTeX as
  well as what the previous contributor did ! Hence auctex must
  allow exactely waht LTeX allows ! I know that it might be
  complicated but I am ready to contribute to the improvement
  of the code. Simply tell me if I think completely wrong !
