The appropriate URL would have been this:
https://savannah.gnu.org/forum/forum.php?forum_id=6261

So it is. Do you know how it is maintained?

You are right. I'm somewhat reluctant to edit that document. This comes
in part from the fact that without the server includes, it isn't valid
xhtml, and I'd prefer to check my html files before uploading them. In
part I've simply been too lazy, too busy, or otherwise not in the mood.

But I am currently beginning to write some documentation for people who
want to contribute, describing basic steps for Savannah, bzr and so on.
I'm sure I'll edit the main document as well, and probably add a NEWS
section there mentioning the latest release. Come to think of it, I
didn't even update the NEWS file in the repository. Definitely should do
that, in order to make sure that 0.6.1 NEWS will mention the 0.6.0
release as well.

A day ago I would have suggested you have it redirect at
http://www.gnu.org/software/wdiff/, but now the URL is in your twitter
message, maybe that's not the perfect moment for this change.

Not at all, and thanks for advertising the release!

Same to you,
