At the very beginning, I think Github is popular. It would be good that we can receive feedback from Github.
I was somewhat relunctant to close the issue tracker of http://github.com/texmacs/texmacs
And personally, I keep my own issues/plans under http://github.com/texmacs/devel
And in 2019, I learned about Anatoliy
Kashkin https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=20531039
And
Github is randomly blocked by the government in China (?).
Sometimes and in some areas of China, Github is not
accessible. I don't know the motivation and don't know if it
is right or wrong. Just want to show the facts.
It's reasonable to close all these
trackers. Freedom is really important.
It is a bit sad that more and more borders are built even on the internet.
Let me close the issue tracker one
by one.
I see, but the problem to me was that there were still an issue tracker open in texmacs/devel and people were using it. We can just close all these trackers and accepts issues only in savannah. That would be the simplest solution. What do you think?

Let me re-open the issue tracker on Github.
At the very beginning, we can manually sync the issues to Savannah.

I would like to hear from Darcy (which seems the one which had set up that page) before doing anything.
Somehow it is useful to have a place in github to receive issues because it is a popular platform and many people use git. However the current location is weird. The texmacs/devel github repository does not contain any code, all the code is in texmacs/texmacs and I would have expected to have there the "Issues" page. I never looked at that other page.
It would be useful to reorganize the github page for texmacs, there are many repositories there, some of which not really maintained anymore (as far as I can see).

Hi Max,
I personally only look at bug reports at Savannah.
If there is a volunteer to collect problems that
have been reported elsewhere and enter them
in the Savannah bug tracker, then that would be great.

Dear all,
I just noticed that people post issues here:
https://github.com/texmacs/devel/issues
which is not the appropriate place to report problems about TeXmacs. I think we should we more clear that issuer can be reported only via savannah or via *one* of the issues page in github. I think the natural place is this one: https://github.com/texmacs/texmacs
but there I see that issues are disabled. Maybe we need to decide what to do. There were several issues which got unnoticed...
Best
