Could you try running "t/dir-dangling-entry.sh", preferrably with the
changes I recently added to pseudotty for extra logging. (If it's too
much bother to update from the SVN repository, please don't worry.)

Alternatively, you could run "make check", and then instead of
pressing CTRL-C, type "cat t/dir-dangling-entry.sh.log" in another
terminal window.
