Hi list,
I want to create an input table for Zhuyin (BoPoMoFo), commonly used in
Taiwan.
I have 2 problems with that:
1. Zhuyin uses the number keys for input, these are interpreted as
selection keys by SCIM.
For example: 好 would be cl3. However, the 3, which is the 3rd tone mark,
is interpreted as selection key 3 for the keystoke cl.
The first tone mark in Zhuyin is the space key, which can also not be
used in SCIM.
How to solve this?
2. When I have a Zhuyin.txt.in file where the characters are already
sorted by frequency use and I make a bin file out of it (using
scim-make-table), SCIM seems to reshuffle the characters so that they
appear unordered. How to solve this?
Cheers
Arne
