Thank you for handling that patch submission! All of the work you
have been doing is great!
For future commits I suggest using a log message that acknowledges the
contributor. Something along the lines of "Patches by John Doe." or
"Suggested by" or "Reported by" or whatever is appropriate.
In the case of real ChangeLogs we are directed to use the submitter's
name directly. But for the most part the version control log has
become the defacto replacement for real ChangeLogs and with Subversion
we only have the option of acknowledging them in the log message.
(Unless there is a better way that I don't know about.)
