I don't know what changed on Savannah.  But please note that most
people, including myself, successfully pull from the Emacs repository.
Tim's situation is quite unique, and even he has that only on one
machine.  (But I understand that machine was OK before.)

I hope you can have your server logs soon to see what is going on.
