We are getting a large spew of reports on webmasters that some package
pages are coming up 404, notably http://www.gnu.org/software/binutils
and http://www.gnu.org/software/gdb.

I surmise it is a repo problem rather than a symlink problem or web
configuration problem, since even
http://www.gnu.org/software/binutils/binutils.html (which is an actual
file checked into binutils webcvs) comes up 404.

http://www.gnu.org/software/gcc comes up as an empty directory.

http://www.gnu.org/software/hello works.
