[Savannah-hackers-public] Mirroring Savannah

Hi,

Do you think we could mirror the Savannah releases files via the GNU
mirrors, as we currently do for project CVS?

We currently host 3.6GB.

Checks could be done during the replication so as to only mirror
properly signed files, and let the rest only at Savannah.

Also some script could be used to point users to a mirror near them,
provided the requested file is (say) more than 1 week-old.
