TODO: 

* check if _--enable-avx --enable-sse2_ is only present in Maneage for fftw in
_high-level.mk_ or if is present upstream for fftw (version 3 or later);
report it upstream if it's an upstream portability bug too

* check if _libpng_ and _ghostscript_ have thought of using
CFLAGS="-DPNG_ARM_NEON_OPT=0" to increase their portability; if not, then
propose it upstream.
