[RP] running scripts through ratpoison on Mac OS X

I've had problems with this sort of thing before.

I wanted to get the script described here working:

 http://ratpoison.elektrubadur.se/mouseless_paste

So I tried

 bind x exec /Users/arided/bin/copyet 

This does not work, even though at the command line,

 % copyet

does work as expected.  

Any ideas about how to fix this?
