You miss my point. My suggestion was to not change the way ratpoison
works, _except_ for when a certain option (let's call it -x), is used,
in which case it would read commands from stdin and send it to the
running ratpoison on $DISPLAY.
Thus:
#!/wherever/bin/ratpoison -x
banish
banish
banish
