I got into it.  Unfortunately, it won't compile for me.
A complete configure/make output is at the end, but the crucial lines
seem to be
  Making all in contrib

I'm sure this is something minor, that wouldn't be a problem for
someone who knows what they're doing.  Unfortunately, I'm not one of
those people.
