In all the DT code I've seen, pretty much everything matches on
vendor/device ID which is used to infer the "device_type" property. The
sub-* IDs are only used to identify particular hardware revisions and so
shouldn't matter here.
Start by setting the vendor/device ID to the ones you need in both the
QEMU VGA driver and OpenBIOS and see how you do.
