When a live migration is started to a host that suddenly disapears (disconnects), QEMU stays in migrating state for a pretty long time. After detecting that the target is gone we can execute a 'migrate_cancel' command through QMP but this does not (directly) abort the live migration. Starting any new live migrations will result in an error:

{"error": {"class": "GenericError", "desc": "There's a migration process in progress"}}

Is there any way to abort a live migration when the target is gone and QEMU can't communicate with it any more?
