pspp 0.04, users, datafile

Hello developers,


Altough I am not a developer I subscribed to this list, because there seems 
no user-list and I want to stay informed about PSPP. At this moment I use 
pspp to generate spss systemfiles within an open source online 
questionnaire tool (http://webenq.sourceforge.net). This is one of the 
features we developed for the dutch organisation IICD (www.iicd.org). They 
stimulate ICT development in developmental countries. They are very happy 
with the on the fly generation of the spss systemfile!!!!

I think one disadvantage of the pspp project is that little attention is 
given to the user information:
ChangeLog is a very technical changelog, not very usefull for 'ordinary' users.
I understood that an new version of pspp is coming 'soon'. I wonder if 
there is an overview of the new features/new supported syntax.
Road map on what functionality are we concentrating in the near future 
(system file that now is comparable with spss 6?, addition with variable 
width commando (spss10?))
