I set up a SourceForge project for the asset creation.
You can find it at https://sourceforge.net/projects/pigeoncide/ and it
IS very easy to use. Just create an account with SF (no certificate or
key file needed) and apply to be put into the project/tell me your
screen name to put you in.
You can access the SVN repository with any svn client like e.g.
TortoiseSVN (http://tortoisesvn.net/downloads , be sure to get the right
version, as 32bit won't work for 64bit windows and vice versa, there
should be). There also are java-based svn clients you can use on mac
(like SmartSVN - http://www.syntevo.com/smartsvn/download.html?all=true).
When using Tortoise simply rightclick on the folder you want to put the
local repository files into and click "checkout" It will ask you for a
url which is
|https://pigeoncide.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/pigeoncide||
|
It won't even ask for a password until you want to upload changes or new
files. I already put in a basic structure to sort our data into and I
will try tu put our asset list we have so far into the task manager in
SF, so everyone can see it.
we even could use the mailing list, but I doubt we need it really ;) At
least we can use it to exchange assets & reference material.
Bye, Marc.|||
