Hi Chris,
Mounting the IMU on a servo may be fun, but it is not necessary. When the plane transitions, the attitude feedback will still work as normal, since the actuators will still do the same w.r.t. the body axes. You may use AP_MODE_FORWARD to transition to forward flight if you want to fly RC with attitude control. The control effectiveness of the flaps will become higher as the plane goes into forward flight, which can be dealt with by using the gain scheduling module. You can also use INDI to control the attitude, with the control effectiveness scheduling module. That is what we developed to fly the Cyclone: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zMn07DRU6tw Regards, Ewoud Van: Paparazzi-devel <paparazzi-devel-bounces+address@hidden> namens Chris <address@hidden>

I found the problem, it was the launcher command line ie. /home/hendrix/paparazzi/./paparazzi It wanted the command without "./" Btw is there any support for transitional flight in the paparazzi code? I am thinking that a delta wing with two counter rotating blades and wing supports would be able to take off vertically and transition to level flight with minimum effort. I am thinking of mounting the IMU to a servo and rotating it 90 degrees according to what flight stage the aircraft is in and of course change autopilot ailerons with the two motor throttles and autopilot yaw with the airplane ailerons while vertical.
