Not really UAV related. This may be interesting for skilled electrical engineers looking to work on something big. I just thought, I'd post it here. I was attending an OUV (German equivalent of EAA) event yesterday where Frank Anton from Siemens gave an interesting talk. They are developing the future hybrid power drive for (real) passenger planes. This is not the usual publicity stunt: They received serious funding and he is currently putting a R&D team together in Germany. He said that interested engineers should apply.
