[Paparazzi-devel] Unusual issue with Polygon Survey - Bug or Feature? |

Hi All,
I wrote a question to the group but I had attached some images, so it must have been blocked.
I created a Polygon survey with 5 waypoints. Because I was unsure about how it worked (it wasn't completely explained), I just copied the example in the wiki. I replicated the waypoints that were showing with some hidden waypoints, with each hidden waypoint having the same coordinates as the showing waypoints. When I ran the polygon survey an unusual issue occurred, the Polygon survey only seemed to work with three of the waypoints, completely disregarding the other two. After a while I got to thinking that maybe the Polygon survey looked at the coordinates and got confused. Each waypoint was replicated so the 5 way points had two waypoints with the same coordinates = 10 waypoints. If I added up the 3 way points there were 6. It seemed the code had drawn a polygon between the 3 way points (disregarding the 6th replicated point) and surveyed them.
I hope I explained it properly. Is this a feature or a bug?
Kindest regards,
Nathan Aherne
