Here is my update. I tried compiling the IvyProbe application on Windows 7 using Visual Studio Team System 2008 Version 9.0.30729 SP1.

 

Compiled without any problems, just had to point the project to the directories with required headers and library files.

I found one problem when running the application though. I commented out "#define USE_PCRE" and I am using VS2008 Regexp.h instead. The Ivy.dll that comes with the package still has hard bindings to the pcre.dll though, which is not nice.

 

Overall, Ivy works on Windows and you can easily use it in your Visual Studio projects.
