[Paparazzi-devel] RC servo values and trouble enabling Auto mode 2 |

Hello PPZ community, it's me again
I'm trying to debug why my "mode" 3P switch won't switch the AP to mode 2, at least from the debug messages that I'm getting. If I look at the PPM values, I see that the 3P switch does indeed cycle through three discrete values. These values range from 16,000 to 22,000 to 28,000 when I look at the PPM values. When I look at the "RC" section, I see that the 3P toggle ranges between -7000, close to 0 in the middle, and +7000 on the other side of the switch. If the RC values are indeed what they say they are, why can I only switch PPZ from Manual (0) to Auto (1) if I look at the FBW mode entry? Should FBW mode ever display Auto (2) as I suspect it should? David has been helpful with suggesting I enable the RC mode switches, and they do seem to be okay, unless I'm missing something.
Radio file has Mode switch as:
<radio name="AR6200" data_min="900" data_max="2100" sync_min ="5000" sync_max ="15000">
.
.
.
<channel ctl="AUX1" function="MODE" min="1000" neutral="1500" max="2000" average="1"/>
Lastly, what does the "average" section mean? Thanks for your help.
-Adrian
