Hello to everybody: Since a few days I´m thinling about a posibility, about using a joystick controller for the paparazzi. I´ve read here: http://lists.gnu.org/archive/html/paparazzi-devel/2009-07/msg00125.html
that the update rate isn´t very fast for a manual control. Ok, but
If I have a redundant rc control system, a common rc systems for manual
(emegency mode), and use the joystick for mode1 and mode2.
Other theory that I have, which implies some hardware modifications
(the ppm code of the rc) it´s to use the paparazzi only in mode1 and 2
(with a preadjust PID), and use to control it the joystick (withaout a
rc rx), I need to do a modification in the code to change from mode 1
to mode 2 and vice versa, from the joystick, and for example to eject a
emergency parachute in case of fail too. What do you think? Yours
opinion are very important.
Thanks to all. Jesús
