It should also be possible to cover the IR sensors with some special
kind of plastic. I'm quite positive that I've read about that on this
mailing list before, and the FMA sensors that the ArduPilot people
used to use are covered as well. If anyone has more specific
information, I'd be very interested to hear about that; we've been
thinking of covering the sensors as well. We'd like to be able to use
them in the rain and can't waint until the Paparazzi IMU/AHRS comes
around ;)
