Sounds like you have had some experience with this model!
Although I have not had trouble flying the Cularis manually, I have
come to the same conclusion you have: CG forward = better. My biggest
gripe with the model so far is that the plug-in wing mount system is
weak and if it cracks, you can't easily fix it.
I chose Cularis because I needed an efficient airframe with good
penetration, that can carry a 1-2 lb payload, is cheap, rugged and
easy to assemble. If anyone has an alternate airframe suggestion, I'd
be gratified to hear about it.
Back to the tuning: am I correct in thinking that the appropriate way
to increase airspeed (for any airframe) is to increase the parameter
AUTO_THROTTLE_NOMINAL_CRUISE_THROTTLE?
Thanks,
John

Hello,
The Cularis is an airplane difficult to tune even for normal operation
(without paparazzi).
Most relevent is the center of gravity that needs to be much further
to the
front than on Multiplex documentation. For the rest I can't help as I
wouldn't put a
paparazzi on it considering
how the beast flies...Good luck !
