i altered my environment acording to your update and removed xml-light-ocaml
(since it was in conflict with pprz-dev).
I also removed some libs (that were installed according to an older wiki manual
Ubuntu installation) like ivy-ocaml, ivy-perl and libsubject-perl.
yea, shouldnt have done it...
Hmmm, ivy-ocaml is still needed !
Updating, csv update, environment, make clean-make cycles are working as
usual... except this error occurs when trying to call the sim in the pprz
center:
Can't locate Paparazzi/Environment.pm in @INC (@INC contains:
/home/volker/paparazzi3/sw/lib/perl
/home/volker/paparazzi3/sw/ground_segment/cockpit /etc/perl
/usr/local/lib/perl/5.8.8 /usr/local/share/perl/5.8.8 /usr/lib/perl5
/usr/share/perl5 /usr/lib/perl/5.8 /usr/share/perl/5.8 /usr/local/lib/site_perl
.) at /home/volker/paparazzi3/sw/simulator/simsitl.pl line 12.
Oups, surprising.
Maybe an old version of conf/control_panel.xml. Delete it (move it :-)
and do a "make conf". It should solve the problem

yes, i looked at simsitl.pl...
You have any clue what lib might be missing now?
thx

Betreff: Re: [Paparazzi-devel] Issues with paparazzi-bin package on clean
install of Ubuntu 7.10
Hi everybody,
updated packages for etch (and Ubuntun) have just been uploaded on the
server (paparazzi-bin and paparazzi-dev). Note that the new alias for
the server name allows to specify the repository as
deb http://paparazzi.enac.fr/debian etch main
If you install paparazzi-bin, you can run "paparazzi" from everywhere
and your $HOME/paparazzi folder will be initialized. Select the "MJ5" or
the "TJ1" aircraft, compile the "sim" target and execute the
"Simulation" session.
If you install the paparazzi-dev, get the source from the cvs and
compile it (make). Then run ./paparazzi from this paparazzi3 directory
Have fun
--Pascal
PS: "Old" users may have to explicitly remove the xml-light-ocaml out of
date package.

Hey All,
I've been building a ubuntu box for the ground system, i altered the
sources.list file like i was told to add
deb http://www.recherche.enac.fr/paparazzi/debian
<http://www.recherche.enac.fr/paparazzi/debian> etch main
Installing the paparazzi-arm7 goes fine but the paparazzi-bin package
throws this up
