Hi Mattew,
The drop of last while flying is quite small. Don't count on that.
There have
been some articles in german magazine which measured only a couple of % using
data loggers. Also you want to put the engine full throttle during the launch
phase, don't you ?
Is there anything braking the engine ? Are the cables too close from
the
rotating part, or something of the kind ?
