  Thanks for the reply. I have been messing around with some of the
Paparazzi2 sw. I really like the idea of the make configure gui script.
Looks like a handy thing, and helps me to understand the configuration
files. The gui loaded right up for me with the map file.   The only
thing giving me problems at the moment is the play log stuff. Can't seem
to get make to run cleanly. Here are the versions of the required
packages I have installed taken from rpm -q

gtk2-2.2.4-5.1
glib2-2.2.3-1.1
libgnomecanvas-2.4.0-1
libxml2-2.6.6-3
glade2-2.0.0-2

Here is the output from make.

  Looks like the Makefile is failing to create the .depend file. Is
<ivy.h> a standard header / library that should already be on my system?
Looks like it may not be there. Also should ivychannel.h and
ivygtkloop.h be in the logalizer folder? Sorry if any of these questions
seem stupid.

  I will keep playing around with things, and may figure something out
yet. Hey it's a learning experience for me anyway, and I have lots of
catching up to do if I want to get this thing in the air.
