I am sorry for this.
You are using the "old" version.
The new version in the paparazzi2 directory should fix this.
If you want to run the old version, make a symbolic link pointing to
messages.xml
(cd paparazzi/downlink/i386; ln -s ../../messages/messages.xml .)
